The race which never existed
We are always competing with someone or comparing something with someone , irony being the other person doesn’t even know about this .
“ The Society taught us to compete so we’d never unite or escape “
From childhood to death its always about who are we looking upto , who’s my competition , who’s the person we left behind , but never the support & unity amongst us . There would be no discrimination if we ever knew all this races are nothing but just a government propaganda lol .
“ They call it success when you forget who you were “
In the amidst of entire race & competition full of life , do you even remember who you used to be ? the little kid inside you ? is that even alive anymore ? the one who used to enjoy an ice cream and sleep peacefully ? the one who never cared about sharing the last piece of pizza ? the one who cared about teammates in school ?
“ They never stole your freedom ; they rented your attention “
I don’t even remember anything a kid used to fear until the society & family shapes one in such way . A kid would even go and pet up a lion until their parents tell them to stay away . The races were always forced into little innocent humans which have been an old school shitty trend .
“ You’re not late ; you’re on your own clock “
Everything getting an age labelled is the biggest gimmick , one has the freedom to do everything they want at any time of space they choose and not follow the age requirement system for it . Learning should never comprise age or any discrimination . Human life should be as free & judgeless as a bird flying high up in sky .
“ Life isn’t about catching up ; only tuning in “
We should never stop enjoying those little moments , those memories , those small lame jokes that made you laugh endlessly .We are not missing out anything if we take a break and enjoy ourselves , let the inner kid embrace theirself once again and enjoy that ice cream like they used to .
“ Life moves when you’re ready “
The fear of being stuck in a loop is also genuine but you gotta find your comfort & progression in those little steps , should never stop for someone or wait its always the race between you & your mind there’s never a 2nd person present there .
“ Life has no finish line ; only moments asking to be lived fully “
You gotta explore as much as you can coz one day death is smiling and waiting for your ass so just go out and take that trip , climb that mountain , finish that trek , roam around that town you always wanted to , see the beautiful world asap you don’t have legs at older age to run that fast.
“ Rushing through life only teaches you how to miss it . “

Love the last line
Indeed we've been conditioned into competing with others. Be it outright, in an exam, for a job or within our thoughts, out of spite.
But i fear, letting go of this habit, of this feeling of rush, is one of the hardest things to part with.
